Edward J. Priselac, 80, of Smithfield, Pa., passed away Monday, August 11, 2008, at the Uniontown Hospital in Uniontown.
He… Edward J. Priselac, 80, of Smithfield, Pa., passed away Monday, August 11, 2008, at the Uniontown Hospital in Uniontown.
He was born on June 8, 1928, at Port View, Pa. (McKeesport) a son of the now late Peter Priselac and Alice Novick Priselac.
In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by his wife, Mary in 1973, a stepson, James Magyar and a nephew, Cal Norton.
Ed was a retired steel worker for National Tube in McKeesport and was a member of the United Steel Workers Union.
He is survived by one brother, Peter Priselac and wife, Dolly of Lincoln Boro, Pa., and one sister, Emma Norton and husband, Carroll also of Lincoln Boro, Pa.; four nieces and three nephews; three great-nieces and three great-nephews; his long time companion, Helen Priselac of Fairchance, Pa.; the following step-children: Richard Ramela and wife, Carol of Acme, Pa, Mary Ann Wargo of Port View, Pa., Raymond Magyar and wife, Jo Ann of Perth Amboy, N.J., and Billy Magyar and wife, June of Floreff, Pa.; 19 step grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren.
The family will receive
friends in the JOHN F. BROWNFIELD FUNERAL HOME, 78 Main Street, Smithfield, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, August 15, 2008, until 11 a.m. when services will be conducted with the Rev. Scott Teets officiating.
Interment will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port View, Pa., at 1 p.m.
