Robert E. “Bob” Penwell Sr., age 74, of Dunbar, Pa., died Saturday, August 9, 2008, in Excela Health Frick Hospital,… Robert E. “Bob” Penwell Sr., age 74, of Dunbar, Pa., died Saturday, August 9, 2008, in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, Pa.
He was born January 16, 1934, in Dunbar, Pa., the Son of George Penwell and Mary Liston Penwell.
“Bob” was a Tow Motor Operator with Williamhouse.
He was a member of The Pechin Chapel.
He was predeceased by his Parents, a Son, Allen Keith Penwell, three Brothers, James Howard Penwell, George Edward Penwell and Infant Twin Brother, Francis Merle Penwell, two Sisters, Birdie Leonard and Nellie Knabenshue, and an Infant Granddaughter, Dawn Marie Penwell.
He is survived by his Spouse of 53 years, Lydia Klink Penwell; a Son, Robert E. Penwell Jr. and his Special Friend, Sonya Bartholow; a Daughter, Dollie Murphy, Connellsville, Pa.; 10 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grand-children; Nieces; Nephews.
Visitation will be held today, August 14, 2008, in PECHIN CHAPEL on Ferguson Road from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. (Note: PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH). Services begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
Interment will follow in Franklin Cemetery, Dunbar.
Arrangements are being handled by the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street in Dunbar, Pennsylvania.
