Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Rae of Kennesaw; daughters and sons-in-law: Cindy and David White of Marietta, Terrie Rowe of Marietta, Deanne and Brian Kelley of Albany, Ga., Christina and Alex Kendrick of Albany, Ga.; brother, J.L., Weldon of Valdosta, Ga.; sisters: Jeanette Wells of Jennings, Florida, Dorothy Irvin of Valdosta, Ga., Dean Collins of Athens, Ga.; ten grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2008, in CARMICHAEL FUNERAL HOME , 1130 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, GA 30064 (770-424-4924). Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2008, in Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta, with Dr. Ernest Easley officiating.
Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
