Police seek 4 suspects in shooting incident
State police are looking for four people who kicked in the front door of a home on Denney Road in German Township early Tuesday morning and exchanged gunfire with two of the residents. Trooper Russell D. Freed said Leslie Renee Hickle, 40, and David Ray Hickle, 38, both of Uniontown, were in the bedroom of the home when the door was kicked in around 3:30 a.m.
Police said the four people who came in were wearing dark clothes and ski masks. Once inside the home, the suspects entered the bedroom and gunfire was exchanged, according to police.
Freed said neither victim was wounded but that one of the suspects may have suffered a gunshot wound.
Police said no one was sought medical attention an area hospitals for a gunshot wound as of Thursday evening.
According to Freed, the victims were not able to get a good description of the suspects because the bedroom was dark.
Police said the assailants fled the home after shots were fired, noting that nothing was reported stolen.
Anyone with information regarding the incident can call Freed at the state police barracks in Uniontown at 724-439-7111.
