Celeste M. Weller, age 82 years of Smithfield, Pa. and currently a guest of the Golden Living Nursing Home in… Celeste M. Weller, age 82 years of Smithfield, Pa. and currently a guest of the Golden Living Nursing Home in Mount Lebanon, Pgh., Pa. passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Mt. Lebanon.
She was born in Elwood City, Pa. on October 27, 1925, a daughter of the now late Michele Martino and Rachel Nido Martino. In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by her husband, John Weaver Weller on January 2, 2000.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fairchance, a graduate of the former Waynesburg College, Waynesburg, Pa. and was employed years ago by the Teachers’ Credit Union, Uniontown, Pa.
She is survived by three children: Rachel C. Weller of Pittsburgh, Pa., Robert R. Weller and wife Diane of Pottstown, Pa. and Michael M. Weller and his wife Cathi of Lynn Haven, Fla.; two step-children: Melinda Weller of Santa Fe, N.M. and Felton P. Weller II and wife Diana of West Port, Connecticut; seven grandchildren; one sister, Maeila Stephens of Palm Springs, California.
Funeral arrangments are incomplete and will be announced later by the JOHN F. BROWNFIELD FUNERAL HOME of Smithfield, Pennsylvania.
