He was born March 5, 1930, son of John F. Humberston and Cora Frazee Humberston.
Clyde was a member of New Life Covenant Church of God for over 50 years.
He graduated in 1957 from Lee College in Cleveland, Tennessee, with a three-year Bible Degree.
He was a Bus Driver with Greyhound Lines for 29 years then worked in security for the Vocational Rehabilitation Center in Pittsburgh, Pa., until his retirement.
Clyde was a veteran of the United States Army and saw active duty in Korea.
He was a member of the American Legion.
He was predeceased by his parents, six brothers and three sisters, Herbert, Ray, Wade, Elmer, John, Bobby, Mary, Ethel and Virginia, and a son, Burt Humberston.
He is survived by two daughters: Bonnie Chernicky of Erie, Pa., and her husband, Charles, and Sherie Abby of Miami, Florida, and her husband, Jay; a daughter-in-law, Connie Humberston of Reading, Pa.; sister, Edna Ruth Myers of Markleysburg, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Farmington, Pa., today, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, August 21, 2008, from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with the Rev. Jerry Steele officiating.
Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg, where Military Rites and Honors will be accorded by Fort Necessity Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 265.
