Robert Jason Stoots, 28, of Vanderbilt, Pa., passed away Monday, August 18, 2008, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va., due… Robert Jason Stoots, 28, of Vanderbilt, Pa., passed away Monday, August 18, 2008, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va., due to injuries sustained in a work related accident.
He was born October 4, 1979, in Connellsville, a son of Robert Newill and Darnice G. Arison Stoots of Connellsville.
Robert was a life long resident of the Connellsville area. He was a graduate of Connellsville Area High School with the class of 1998. He worked as a welder for the Bailey Machine Company in Connellsville. Robert loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Robert will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his fiancee’, Michelle R. Reagan of Vanderbilt; his brother, Brian Stoots of Connellsville; his sisters: Alicia Stoots of Union City, Pa., and Katrina Stoots of Connellsville; and his maternal grandmother, LaVaughn Nozemack of Connellsville; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Nozemack and his paternal grandparents, James and Betty Stoots.
Family and friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 9 p.m. on Thursday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 East Greet Street, Connellsville, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2008, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Neal Stevens officiating.
A Committal Service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
