Jeanie MacDonald Hunter (Winkelvoss) Lewis Hillen, 84, currently a guest of the LaFayette Manor Nursing Home and of Uniontown, Pa.,… Jeanie MacDonald Hunter (Winkelvoss) Lewis Hillen, 84, currently a guest of the LaFayette Manor Nursing Home and of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2008, in LaFayette Manor.

She was born on October 20, 1923, in Curry Hollow, Pittsburgh, Pa., a daughter of the now late Robert Winkelvoss and Jean Waddle Winkelvoss.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Charles Winkelvoss and sister, Betty Winkelvoss.

She was a member of the former Presbyterian Church in Smithfield, Pa., and she was a certified nurses aide having been employed at LaFayette Manor years ago.

She is survived by her husband, Gilbert L. Hillen and the following children: Charles W. Lewis, Jr. and wife, Brenda of Harrisburg, Pa., Wendy J. Spaw and husband Bill of Fairchance, Pa., Bruce D. Lewis and wife, Linda of Uniontown, and Gary D. Lewis, Sr. and wife Kathy of Uniontown; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brothers and sister: Dorothy Pickel of McKeesport, Pa., Albert Winkelvoss and wife Thelma of Coutersport, Pa., and Alvin (Fuzzy) Winkelvoss and wife, Joann of Smithfield.

The family will receive friends in the JOHN F. BROWNFIELD FUNERAL HOME, Smithfield, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, August 22, 2008, until 11 a.m. when services will be conducted with the Rev. George W. McLaughlin officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
