Margaret B. Salopeck, 92, of Carmichaels, Pa., and formerly of Masontown, Pa., went to be with the Lord on Monday,… Margaret B. Salopeck, 92, of Carmichaels, Pa., and formerly of Masontown, Pa., went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 18, 2008, in her home with her loving daughter, Andrea and granddaughter, Lindsay, at her side.

She was born February 5, 1916, in Gilmore, Pa., a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Krupa) Blasinsky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew “Salty” Salopeck, her beloved son, Eugene Salopeck, four brothers and three sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, James Salopeck of Painesville, Ohio; a daughter, Andrea Timbers and her husband, Jeff of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; eight grandchildren: Susan Nemeth and her husband, Steve of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Jimmy Salopeck and his wife, Nicki of Lakewood, Ohio, Sean Timbers of Anaheim Hills, Calif., Lindsay Timbers of Anaheim Hills, Calif., Dean Salopeck and his wife, Tammy of Wickliffe, Ohio, Scott Salopeck and his wife, Allison of Mentor, Ohio, Todd Salopeck and his wife, Vicki of Painesville, and Stacy Payne and her husband, Deric of Willoughby, Ohio; 17 great-grandchildren; and two step great- grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, August 21, in the YOSKOVICH FUNERAL HOME (724-966-5500), Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, Pa., where a Blessing Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2008. A Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels, with the Rev. John M. Bauer as Celebrant.

Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.

A Vigil Service will be held at 7 p.m. today in the Funeral Home.
