She was born on July 11, 1940, in Brownsville, Pa., the Daughter of Andrew Zapotosky and Eusteen Stanya Zapotosky.
She was predeceased by her Parents, her Brother, Andrew M. Zapotosky, and her Sister, Joann Zapotosky.
Janet is survived by her husband, Marvin “Sonny” Jacobs; three Children: Tammy Jones, Marvin Jacobs Jr. and his wife Missy and Pamela McVicker; seven Grandchildren: Josh Jones and wife Pam, Steve Jones, Racheal McVicker, Felicia McVicker, Brittney McVicker, Dominick Jacobs and Jackie Engle; three Great-Grandchildren: Emily Jones, Annie Jones and Josh Frost Jr.; also numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at 9:15 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in Saint James Roman Catholic Church, LaBelle, with the Rev. Father James Petrovsky as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pennsylvania.
Vigil Service will be held in the Funeral Home today at 3:45 p.m.
