Robbery suspect sought

By Josh Krysak 2 min read

Uniontown police said they are searching for two suspects who pulled a gun on a man walking his dog and robbed him of a cigarette and a cigarette lighter. According to Officer John Kauer, Vincent Paschke Jr. of Uniontown was walking his 5-month-old puppy around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on Jefferson Street when the men jumped him.

Kauer said Paschke told police that one of the men pulled a handgun and demanded money. Paschke told the men that he did not have any money on him. At that point, Kauer said the men stole the only items Paschke did have at the time – a cigarette and a cigarette lighter – and then fled the scene.

Kauer said police canvassed the area for the suspects but were unable to locate them.

Paschke told police that the suspects were both black men with large builds, Kauer said. The suspect who pulled the gun was described as about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with scruffy facial hair and a pockmarked face. He was wearing a dark sleeveless shirt and blue jeans. The second man was about 6 feet tall, with little facial hair, and was wearing blue jeans and a puffy black coat, Kauer said.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects can call police at 724-430-2929.
