Materials stolen
State police said a large amount of materials belonging to Atlas Energy Resources were stolen from job sites in Dunbar and Franklin townships between 4:30 p.m. Jan. 25 and 7 a.m. Monday. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the state police barracks in Uniontown at 724-439-7111.

Man charged
Ryan K. Brown, 35, of Vanderbilt was charged with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief after he allegedly choked and hit Susanna Wiltrout, 34, of Connellsville during a domestic altercation at 109 Wood St. at 1:46 a.m. Sunday, state police said. Police said Brown was arraigned on the charges before Magisterial District Judge Dwight Shaner.

Man arrested
State police said Glenn E. Shartzer, 40, of Dunbar was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop on West Crawford Avenue near Upper Sandy Hollow Road at 1 a.m. Jan. 1. Police reported that Shartzer also was cited for other summary vehicle violations.

Man injured
Scot A. Lehman, 37, of Uledi suffered injuries when the vehicle he was driving crashed on Route 21 at 7 a.m. Wednesday, state police said. According to police, Lehman’s vehicle traveled off the road about 20 feet before striking a tree. Lehman was taken to Uniontown Hospital by Fayette EMS, police said. Police further noted that Lehman’s vehicle was towed from the scene.

Vehicle damaged
State police said Helen E. Sokol, 22, of Masontown was not injured after being involved in a one-vehicle accident on Route 21 at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday. Police said Sokol’s vehicle was damaged when it traveled off the road and struck an unknown object. The vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
