Dunbar Twp. Items stolen

Donald G. Miskanin Jr., 26, of Dunbar Township reported several items were stolen from a shed on his property on East Broadway Street between 12:01 a.m. Jan. 24 and 12:30 p.m. Monday, state police said.

Vehicles crash

State police said vehicles driven by Matthew S. Slaughter, 32, of Markleysburg and Raymond B. Graham Sr., 53, of Smithfield crashed on Route 119 at 6:25 a.m. Wednesday. Police did not say if either man was injured.

Two cited

State police said a 17-year-old Uniontown girl and Amber M. Rayoni, 19, of Uniontown were each cited for disorderly conduct following a brick-throwing incident in the area of 512 E. Main St. at 10:50 p.m. Monday.

Bullskin Twp.

Hit-and-run probed

State police said an unknown man driving a late-model black sports car crashed into a vehicle driven by Sandra Lee Weight of Grindstone on Leisenring-Vanderbilt Road at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said the man, described as being a white male with a medium build in his late 20s or early 30s, fled the scene following the crash. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the state police barracks in Uniontown at 724-439-7111.

Wipers damaged

Cindi Hiles, 54, of Daisytown reported a 58-year-old Uniontown man damaged the windshield wipers on her vehicle while it was parked in a lot on New Salem Road at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, state police said. Police said criminal mischief charges will be filed against the man.

CD player stolen

State police said a compact disc player was stolen from a vehicle belonging to Amy L. Rigger, 26, of Uniontown while the vehicle was parked in a lot on Mall Run Road between 1 and 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Threats investigated

State police said an alleged incident involving a pregnant woman who was threatened is under investigation. Police said Paris S. Howard, 22, of Uniontown reported that a 31-year-old Uniontown man called her at 9:30 p.m. Monday and threatened to harm her and her unborn baby.

South Union Twp.

Gasoline stolen

State police said about $50 worth of gasoline was stolen from the Dairy Mart service station on Dixon Boulevard at 12:25 p.m. Dec. 17. Police said the suspect was driving an older model Cadillac.

Connellsville Twp.

Money stolen

James P. Riser of Connellsville Township reported $2,000 was stolen from Riser’s Pub between 1 p.m. Monday and 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, state police said.

South Union Twp.

Line cut

State police said the fuel line on a 2002 Ford box truck belonging to Wholesale Inc. of Uniontown was cut while the truck was parked at 150 Walnut Hill Road, noting that the incident was reported at 6:15 a.m. Jan. 21.

Police said about 20 gallons of fuel was stolen from the truck. The total value of the fuel is valued at $63.80, and damage to the truck is estimated at $200, police said.

Vehicles collide

Vehicles driven by Phyllis E. Van Sickle, 67, of Uniontown and Ralph M. Campbell Jr., 70, of Uniontown collided on Route 40 at 11:07 a.m. Jan. 24, state police said.

Chain saws stolen

State police said five chain saws belonging to Kern Lumber Co. were stolen from a steel shed located at 129 Maple Lane between 5:30 p.m. Jan. 7 and 6:30 a.m. Jan. 8.

Altercation reported

State police said a physical altercation between Ricky Simpson, 42, of Leisenring and Wayne Ohler, 31, of Normalville occurred at the Old Leisenring Store at 6:05 p.m. Monday. Police said Simpson allegedly grabbed Ohler by the neck.

Ohler then allegedly punched Simpson in the head, police said, noting that both were cited for simple assault. Police said two juveniles – a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy – also were involved in a separate altercation at the store.

Vehicle overturns

State police said a vehicle driven by Gloria J. Fullem, 45, of Connellsville overturned after traveling off Broadford Road and into a creek at 9:01 a.m. Jan. 24. Police did not say if Fullem suffered injuries as a result of the crash.

North Union Twp.

Oil stolen

State police said about 100 gallons of oil belonging to Frances L. Hardin of North Union Township was stolen from a location at 123 Percy Lane between 9 a.m. Jan. 10 and 11 a.m. Jan. 25.

Man arrested

Gregg Billy of Uniontown was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Lincoln Street Dec. 14, state police said. Police said Billy was pulled over after he allegedly committed several traffic violations.

Car recovered

Uniontown police said a car that had been reported stolen by Tricia Crozier of Uniontown was recovered on Gallatin Avenue at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. Police said charges are pending against a Uniontown woman as a result.

Fraud reported

Mamie Larrydale of Uniontown told police that someone obtained a credit card in her name and then accumulated a debt of more than $5,000, Uniontown police said.

Vehicle struck

State police said a vehicle parked on Cook Street was struck by another vehicle that then fled the scene at 2:50 a.m. Wednesday.

State police said vehicles driven by Benson Hayes of Hunker and Jeffery Dzubay of Fayette City collided on Boy Scout Road at 11:40 p.m. Jan. 8.

Woman charged

Dorthia Argirakis, 21, of Belle Vernon was charged with criminal mischief after she allegedly damaged an oven owned by Valerie Ashbaugh of Smithton at a residence on Kott Lane at 9:23 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Connellsville

Charges waived to court

A Rockwood man charged in connection with eight burglaries in Fayette County will have the matter heard in Fayette County Common Pleas Court after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing this week.

Robert E. Fisher, 31, of 360 Harvest Drive is charged with six counts each of burglary and criminal conspiracy to commit burglary; five counts each of criminal mischief and of theft by unlawful taking or disposition and two counts of criminal attempt to commit theft by unlawful taking, stemming from incidents taking place from Sept. 5, 2005, to Sept. 28, 2006.

According to police, Fisher allegedly broke into convenience stores in Springfield and Bullskin townships, gas stations in Wharton and Georges Township and in some cases removed ATMs containing money along with allegedly stealing two vehicles during the crime spree.

Fisher remains lodged in Fayette County Prison.

State police said $42.70 worth of gasoline was stolen from the Exxon service station on Route 51 at 6 p.m. Monday.

Vehicles collide

State police said vehicles driven by Ronald R. Rozell, 74, of Connellsville and Raymond E. Watson, 56, of Rivesville, W.Va., collided at the intersection of Route 51 and Route 119 at 9 a.m. Jan. 16.

Items found

State police said four DirecTV receivers, a DirecTV digital video recorder and a box containing mounting hardware were found at the intersection of Hopwood-Coolspring Road and Route 40 at 8:56 p.m. Jan. 25. Police said the boxes were sealed from the factory and appeared to have possibly fallen out of a vehicle. Any installer or distributor missing the items is asked to call the state police barracks in Uniontown at 724-439-7111.

Cover cut

David A. Lucas of Connellsville reported the tonneau cover on his 2004 Chevrolet Silverado was cut while the truck was parked in the Uniontown Mall parking lot around noon Jan. 26, state police said, noting that damage is estimated at $300.

Three injured

State police said three people were injured when vehicles driven by Leona Connor, 78, of Uniontown and Jared Prolenski, 23, of Vanderbilt crashed at the intersection of McClellandtown Road and Matthew Drive Jan. 26.

Police said Connor and two juvenile passengers in her vehicle suffered minor injures in the crash and were taken to Uniontown Hospital. Prolenski was not injured, police said.

Woman cited

Jessica Goode, 22, of Uniontown was cited with disorderly conduct for her alleged involvement in an altercation that occurred in front of the Eat ‘N Park restaurant entrance on Route 40 at 4:55 a.m. Jan. 26, state police said.

Brownsville

Warrants served

Brownsville police said officers served seven warrants on Christina Swarrow, 25, of Daisytown after locating Swarrow at a residence on Ventura Drive at 4:23 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said Swarrow was wanted on charges of criminal conspiracy, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, access device fraud and forgery. Swarrow was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Mike Defino and released on a $10,000 unsecured bond per charge, totaling $70,000.

Residents threatened

Brownsville police said two residents who live on Pearl Street reported the words “I’ll kill you” were written in the snow near their homes Jan. 24. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 724-785-7334.

Uniontown police said they assisted Smithfield police in serving a warrant for the arrest of Terry Myers, no address available, Friday morning.

Uniontown police said an unidentified woman assaulted Samantha Stewart of Uniontown at a location on Cleveland Avenue at 5:38 p.m. Thursday.

Uniontown police said they served a warrant for the arrest of Kent Wilson, no address available, at a business on North Gallatin Avenue at 8:52 p.m. Thursday.

Dana Chantale Gehr, 19, of Reading was cited for underage drinking following an incident on Pennsylvania Avenue at 1:54 a.m. Friday, California police said.

State police said a vehicle driven by Samantha Matlick of Fairchance overturned on Wynn Road at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday.

Man charged

Harold Wayne Riggen, 50, of Uniontown was charged with public drunkenness following an incident on Rosy Hill Lane at 4:10 a.m. Friday, state police said.

Lacrae Hollingsworth of Uniontown told state police that her 1994 purple Buick LeSabre was stolen from a location on Oliver Road between 4 p.m. Thursday and 1 a.m. Friday, police said.

Cars collide

State police said vehicles driven by Ronald Davis and Amy Shroyer, both of Smithfield, collided on Morgantown Road at 6:30 a.m. Jan. 17. Shroyer and a passenger in her vehicle suffered injuries in the crash, police said.
