Linda G. Beasley, age 56, of Uniontown, Pa., died unexpec-tedly on Wednesday, January 30, 2008, at home.

She was… Linda G. Beasley, age 56, of Uniontown, Pa., died unexpec-tedly on Wednesday, January 30, 2008, at home.

She was born on February 17, 1951, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of Carter Johnson and Ruth DeSellem.

Linda graduated from Laurel Highlands High School.

She worked as a Nurse’s Aide for Peroni Personal Care Home and received her certifications from the American Red Cross.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Emma Johnson Reagan who raised her, a sister, Mary Johnson.

Linda is survived by her son, James Beasley and his wife, Dana, of Uledi, Pa.; her daughter, Carla Ellis and her husband, William, of Uniontown, Pa.; seven grandchildren: her brother, Carter Johnson Jr. of Kentucky; two sisters: Charlotte Dowe of Ohio and Patty Ramsey and her husband, Roy, of Maryland; her mother-in-law, Dorothy Beasley of Buffalo, New York; three sisters-in-law: Jeanie Owens and her husband, Angel, of Washington, Pa., Patricia Blackwell and her husband, Dennis, and Lois Staley and her husband, James, all of Buffalo, New York, Vivian Beasley and Maureen Beasley both of Chester, Virginia; brother-in-law, Carl Beasley of Chester, Virginia; her ex-husband, James Beasley of Uniontown, Pa.; many nieces and nephews; and her close friend, Linda Brown.

Arrangements are entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., where the family will receive friends from Noon until 2 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2008, followed by a celebration of her life at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Alfred Thompson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Fayette County Cemetery.
