John and Heather Wardman of Brownsville announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Shelbey Ann, to Stephen Paul Lorenzetty. The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and a 2002 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She also earned a master’s degree from California University of Pennsylvania in 2003. She is employed with J.G. Foodmarts.

Her fiance is the son of Edward and Judie Kowalski of Greenfield Avenue, Pittsburgh. He is a 1993 graduate of Taylor Allerdice High School and is a gunnery sergeant with the United States Marine Corps.

A wedding ceremony is planned for Feb. 23.
