J.R. Harry Walters, 77 of Uniontown, Pa., died Monday, February 4, 2008.

He was born January 15, 1931, in Uniontown.

He was born January 15, 1931, in Uniontown.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Harry F. Walters and Phoebe Virginia Molton Walters and a sister, Arlene Coughenour.

Mr. Walters was a former employee of the Hagan Dairy Company and was a member of Uniontown Elks BPO Lodge 370, the Uniontown Polish Club, Amvets General Marshall Post 103 Hopwood, Uniontown Lodge 20 Loyal Order of Moose and the Hutchinsons Sportsmen’s Club.

Surviving are a sister, Shirley Ann Pavlik of Uniontown; a brother, George F. Molton and his wife, Alice of Pittsburgh, Pa.; three nieces: Jill Molton of Uniontown, Susan Ansel and her husband, Lou of McClellandtown, Pa. and Linda Hoye and her husband, Ray of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two nephews: Rick Coughenour and his wife, Nanette of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Chris Molton of Uniontown, Pa and many great-nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Firday from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday until 11 a.m. the hour of service with the Rev. Robert Ellenberger officiating.

Private interment will be in Jacobs Lutheran Cemetery, Masontown, Pa.
