The Education Council of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce has honored Cassandra Miller of Uniontown, a junior at Fayette County Area Vocational-Technical School, as a student of the month for January. The daughter of Dianne Miller, she plans to obtain her Pennsylvania Cosmetology License and open her own shop. She works part-time at Vinny’s Hair Designers and at Save A Lot as a cashier. She is involved in her church and has received a certificate for assisting at a personal care home.
