Luzerne Twp. House shot
State police said a residence along Frick Street in Hiller was shot several times early Thursday morning. Police said Brad Daugherty and Samantha Brown, both of Hiller, and Frederick Daugherty of Brownsville were in the home when the incident occurred. According to police, six rounds were fired into the front of the residence between 4:30 and 5 a.m.

Perryopolis
Woman injured
State police said Donna Dunay of Wickhaven suffered minor injuries when the car she was driving crashed on Route 51 at 1:36 a.m. Tuesday. Police said witnesses reported that Dunay, who was not initially identified following the crash, appeared to be unconscious following the crash and was removed from the wrecked vehicle by a man driving a pickup truck. After further investigation, police were able to identify Dunay and check on her condition, police said.

Man charged
State police said Tony James Baysinger, 33, of Dunbar Township was charged before Magisterial District Judge Ronald Haggerty with burglary following an incident at the Lemont Furnace home of Donald Frankhouser at 11:30 p.m. Monday.

Item stolen
Damond Kolodziej of Webster told state police that his hunting tree stand was stolen from a location in Dunbar Township Dec. 9, police said.

Medicine stolen
State police said medication owned by Valerie Annis of Vanderbilt was stolen from her purse at a residence in Trotter at 8:23 p.m. Monday.

Cars collide
Vehicles driven by Tonya Jordan of Masontown and Charles Barnhart of Fairchance collided on Smithfield-Masontown Road at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, state police said. Jordan suffered moderate injuries, police said.

Theft reported
State police said someone stole cash and soda from a vending machine at a business in South Union Township in mid-December.

Two charged
State police said Cynthia Kay Casper, 39, of Masontown and Andrea Rose Costello, 29, of Brownsville were each charged with harassment following an altercation at a location on Pechin Road at 4 p.m. Monday.

Vehicle struck
Lee Wingrove of Uniontown told state police that his vehicle was struck by another vehicle that then fled the scene in the parking lot of a business in North Union Township at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

Theft attempted
State police said someone broke into the Dairy Mart on Dixon Boulevard at 12:20 a.m. Nov. 27 and attempted to steal an automated teller machine.

Vehicle crashes
State police said a vehicle driven by Robin Daugherty crashed on Main Street at 12:31 p.m. Tuesday.

Crash reported
State police said vehicles driven by Kelly Hixon and Clayton Knox, both of Smithfield, collided on Route 119 at 4:51 p.m. Monday. Knox was flown by medical helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., for treatment following the crash, police said.

Vehicle recovered
State police said a vehicle that had been reported stolen from Uniontown was recovered in Georges Township at 12:55 a.m. Friday.

Cars collide
No one was injured when vehicles driven by Patrick Podvorec of Belle Vernon and Donald Simpkins of Lower Burrell collided on Route 119 at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, state police said.

Mail damaged
Carrie Hoyman of Mount Pleasant told state police that vandals destroyed the mail in her mailbox at a residence on Main Street in Bullskin Township between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday, police said.

Car crashes
State police said a car driven by Richard Silbaugh of Point Marion crashed on Route 166 at 8 a.m. Jan. 30.
Perry Twp.
Man struck
State police said Donald Wilson of Perryopolis suffered moderate injuries when a vehicle struck him while he was walking on Route 51 at 4 a.m. Wednesday.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, police said. Wilson was taken to the Uniontown Hospital for treatment, police said.
