Doris F. Schnatterly, 90, of Uniontown died, Tuesday, February 5, 2008, in the Licking County Memorial Hospital, Newark, Ohio.

… Doris F. Schnatterly, 90, of Uniontown died, Tuesday, February 5, 2008, in the Licking County Memorial Hospital, Newark, Ohio.

She was born September 24, 1917, in Adah, Pa., the daughter of the late Ray Fuehrer and Phyllis Young Fuehrer.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carson Schnatterly, a brother Melvin Fuehrer and a sister Betty Fuehrer.

Doris graduated from German Township High School with the Class of 1935. She was a secretary with the Uniontown Sanitary Diary. She worked with the Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers and was a member of the Service League and active with Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Uniontown.

Doris is survived by her two daughters: Carol Clites of Newark, Ohio and Nancy Pleban of Pfafftown, N.C. and two grandchildren: Lindsey Pleban and Ross Pleban.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa. where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today, February 8, 2008. Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 9, 2008 in Trinity United Presbyterian Church from 10 until 11 a.m. followed by a service celebrating her life at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Michael I. Orsted officiating.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
