Born April 7, 1928, in Allegheny… Blanche Swartz, 79, of Willoughby Hills, Ohio, died February 9, 2008, in her home.

Born April 7, 1928, in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, she had lived in Lake County for more than 30 years. Mrs. Swartz was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Frank Venda of Perrysburg, Ohio; nephews: Bill (Kathy) Ritz of Carmichaels, Pa., and Mark Ritz; great nieces: Ashlee and Chelsee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald R. Swartz, on September 18, 1990, and her daughter, Cheri Vanda on July 9, 2003. Her parents, Riley M. and Mary Jane (McClelland) Guesman, sister, Adelaide “Taddy” Ritz and brother, Bill Guesman are also deceased.

There will be no local calling hours or services. Private burial and private family services will be in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.
