Ashley Nicole Stewart, 21, of 11 Crest St., Uniontown posted a $25,000 straight cash bond following charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest and harassment after she allegedly struck a state police trooper in the face outside a bar in North Union Township on Feb. 3. It was incorrectly reported Thursday that Stewart was still in the Fayette County Prison after failure to post bond. The Herald-Standard apologizes for the error.
