Josephine Evelyn Kornick Mihalik, 89, of Old Hickory, Tennessee and formerly of Brownsville Pa., and Homosassa, Fla., passed away on… Josephine Evelyn Kornick Mihalik, 89, of Old Hickory, Tennessee and formerly of Brownsville Pa., and Homosassa, Fla., passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael M. Mihalik, parents, Andrew and Analia Kornick, six brothers, John, Joseph, Michael, Paul, Peter and Louis Kornick.

Josephine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michele and John Crist of Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Michael L. and Josephine Mihalik of Tennessee; son, Joseph Mihalik of Tennessee; grandchildren: Erin and husband, Chris Clark, Elizabeth Mihalik, James Mihalik, Andrew Mihalik and Matthew Crist. In addition to other numerous relatives, she is survived by two sisters-in-law: Anna Mae Mihalik of Brownsville, Pa. and Mildred Ellsworth of Columbus, Ohio.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2008, at the Historic Church of Saint Peter, Brownsville, Pa., at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Father Vincent Gigliotti as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of The SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa.
