Roland R. Hall, age 85, of Brownsville, Pa., was called Home to glory on Friday, February 15, 2008, from the… Roland R. Hall, age 85, of Brownsville, Pa., was called Home to glory on Friday, February 15, 2008, from the Monongahela Valley Hospital, Carroll Township, Pa.

He was born on April 6, 1922 in Coal Center, Pa., the Son of Robert Hall and Ella Craven Hall.

Roland was a member, Elder and Trustee of the Coal Center Presbyterian Church.

He was a veteran of World War II who served with the United States Army 83rd Division Company K 329th Infantry Regiment. He earned a Bronze Star during the Normandy Campaign.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 377 in California, Pennsylvania.

He was predeceased by his Parents and two Brothers, Raymond Hall and Robert Hall.

Roland is survived by his Wife of 56 years, Loretta Ann Giannetti Hall; two Children: Bruce Allen Hall of Brownsville, Pa., and Patricia Marie Hall Mobberly and her husband, Mark, of North Olmsted, Ohio; Sister, Garnet Barli of Coal Center, Pa.; and several Nieces and Nephews.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today and Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at 11 a.m. with Dr. Harry Langley officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa., where full Military Rites and Honors will be accorded by American Legion Post 377 of California, Pennsylvania.
