Bullskin Twp. Reward offered

Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident in July in Bullskin Township.

State police said a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian at 1:50 a.m. July 7 on Englishman Hill Road, east of Route 982. The victim was Phillip Miller of Melcroft. The vehicle fled the scene.

Anybody with information about the accident, any serious crime or wanted person can call Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-4PA-TIPS. All callers remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.

E. Bethlehem Twp.

Information wanted

Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the theft of $250,000 in medical supplies in February in East Bethlehem Township.

State police in Washington said two large black duffel bags containing the supplies and a black backpack containing a laptop computer and a printer were stolen from a vehicle between Feb. 8 and 9. One of the bags was thrown out of a moving vehicle and was recovered near the owner’s home. The supplies were wire leads used in open-heart surgeries and pace makers. Each lead is individually packaged and has a serial number.

Anyone with information about the theft, any serious crime or wanted person could call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4PA-TIPS. All callers remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.

Sign struck

A vehicle driven by Gustavo Arroyo of Uniontown struck a sign while traveling in North Union Township at 8:53 a.m. Feb. 11, state police said.

Redstone Twp.

Metal stolen

State police said scrap metal and other junked items belonging to Scott W. Williams of Lemont Furnace were stolen from Forty Auto Sales & Salvage on Route 40 between 3:30 p.m. Jan. 11 and 2:30 p.m. Feb. 1. Police said the stolen material was worth about $1,460.

California police said Jason Ross, 20, of Pittsburgh was charged with disorderly conduct and underage drinking

after an incident Jan. 31.

Man cited

State police said Buddy Allen Watters, 34, of Jefferson was cited with harassment and disorderly conduct after he allegedly caused a disturbance at a Greene County establishment around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Woman hit

Heather Berry of Sycamore was cited with harassment after she allegedly hit Laura Wesley of Nemacolin in the face following an altercation at 570 Browns Creek Road at 10:50 a.m. Feb. 9, state police said.

Vehicle overturns

A vehicle driven by Robert Lancaster of Dawson overturned on Banning Road at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Vehicles vandalized

Debbie Miller of Carmichaels reported vehicles parked at her home were vandalized between 12:30 and 3 a.m. Feb. 9, state police said, noting that the vehicles were spray painted and hit with eggs.

California police said Donnie Carl Parkinson Jr., 19, and Michael Stritmatter, 19, both of Washington, were cited for underage drinking following an incident on Mechanic Street at 3 a.m. Saturday.

State police said liquor owned by T.A. Johnson’s restaurant in Luzerne Township was stolen from the restaurant between 10:15 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Two charged

Matthew Edward Gajan, 20, of Richeyville and a North Belle Vernon teen were each charged with criminal mischief and vandalism following an incident at Brewer Stadium in Belle Vernon Feb. 9, Southwest Regional police said.

Purse stolen

Marnie Miller of Hibbs told state police that her purse was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at a business in South Union Township between 3 and 11 p.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Cars collide

State police said vehicles driven by Janice Bennett of Clarksville and John Latsnic of Masontown collided on Route 21 at 2:11 p.m. Wednesday. Both Latsnic and a passenger suffered injuries and were taken to Uniontown Hospital, police said.

State police said items owned by Thomas Anielewski of Elco were stolen from his home on Second Street between 9 and 10 a.m. Wednesday.
