All Saints Catholic Church in Masontown was the setting for the marriage of Laura Marie Michalik of Fairfax, Va., and Allen Robert Giacobbi of Greensburg. The Rev. Rene Kollar officiated the nuptial ceremony on July 7.

Parents of the bride are Frank and Priscilla Michalik of Carmichaels. Parents of the bridegroom are Robert and Marian Giacobbi of Greensburg.

Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a white satin A-line gown with off-the-shoulder neckline adorned with beading and semi-cathedral train. She wore her mother’s wedding veil.

Maid of honor was Mary Michalik, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mary Giacobbi, Ann Giacobbi, sisters of the bridegroom; Michelle Casini, cousin of the bride, and Laura Swetra. Maria D’Angelo, cousin of the bridegroom, was junior bridesmaid. Anne Lawrence, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

Best man was Joseph Giacobbi, brother of the bridegroom. Ed Michalik, brother of the bride; Alex Concannon, Mike Ulrick, and Patrick Sweeney were groomsmen. Brian Pevarnik, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Lakeside Party Center, McClellandtown.

The bride and groom are 2004 graduates of St. Vincent College. She is a second grade teacher at Halley Elementary School in Fairfax Station, Va., and he is employed with KPMG.

Following a honeymoon at the Adventura Spa Palace resort in Rivera Maya, Mexico, they are residing in Arlington, Va.
