He was born on May 22, 1920, in Braznell, Pa., the Son of Stephen Kuchak and Catherine Bokol Kuchak.
He was a member of The Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville and The Croatian Fraternal Union.
He graduated from the Centerville High School.
Ivan was a World War II veteran who served in the European Theatre of Operations in the Tank Corps, Third Armored Division.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, his Brother, Stephen, and Sisters, Mildred Laktash and Mary Volchko.
He is survived by his Wife, Anne Sirilla Kuchak; Daughter, Iva Kay Conjelko and her husband Michael; three Grandchildren, Joseph Takacs and his wife Jenifer, Michele Weidman and her husband Keith and Kathleen Conjelko; Great-Granddaugh-ter, Lilly Grace Weidman; two Step Great-Granddaughters: Bonnie Riggins and Kaitlyn Riggins; four Sisters-in-Law: Helen Kuchak, Mary Whiteko, Nancy Sirilla and Eleanor Sirilla; Brother-in-Law, Emerson Sirilla; several Nieces and Nephews.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held on Monday, February 25, 2008, at 9:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in The Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville with the Rev. Father Vincent Gigliotti as the Celebrant.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, where Full Military Rites and Honors will be accorded by American Legion posts 295, 940 and 838.
