Car damaged
Brownsville police said Ashley Svenungsen, 20, of West Brownsville reported on Feb. 15 at 4:30 p.m. that her vehicle was damaged while parked in front of 108 Lynn Road. Damage included all windows broken, taillights broken out, dents and other damage to the vehicle.

Theft reported
Brownsville police said Matthew Glover, 21, reported Thursday at 3:30 p.m. that he left $2,000 worth of Craftsman tools in a toolbox in the custody of relatives at South Hills Terrace. When he returned to the residence, the tools were missing.

Hit-and-run logged
State police in Belle Vernon said an unknown driver in a white vehicle that was traveling west on a township road collided with a 2005 Saturn Ion driven by Linda K. Smith of Belle Vernon just .5 miles east of the Perry/Jefferson Township line on Friday at 11:30 p.m. Police said Smith saw the unknown driver starting to slide and stopped. The unknown vehicle struck Smith’s vehicle and fled the scene. Smith’s car received moderate damage. Smith was wearing a seat belt.

State police in Belle Vernon said Robert Allen Miller of Uniontown was traveling west in a 2007 pickup truck on Rehoboth Church Road Saturday at 4:35 a.m. Police said the truck hit the guide rail and rolled over, coming to rest on its side, receiving moderate damage. Miller, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to Uniontown Hospital by Rostraver-West Newton Ambulance. A representative for Uniontown Hospital could not give a condition report for Miller. Perryopolis Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Vehicles collide
State police in Belle Vernon said vehicles driven by Zachary Dobrinski, 23, of Van Voorhis and Jamie Giffin, 35, of Allenport collided on a state road Thursday at 7:15 p.m. Dobrinski’s vehicle received minor rear-end damage, while Giffin’s vehicle received moderate front-end damage, according to police. Police said neither driver was injured, and both were wearing seat belts.

State police in Belle Vernon said Angela A. Chapley, 32, of Uniontown and Allaire B. Lafferty, 21, of Hopwood were traveling west on Route 40 Friday at 6:48 a.m. when they collided. Police reported no injuries.

Utility pole struck
State police in Belle Vernon said Donald E. Vernett III, 30, of Smock was driving a car on Market Street Friday at 6:11 a.m., when he slid off the roadway and struck a utility pole. Police said he was treated for a minor injury at Uniontown Hospital.

Purse stolen
Uniontown City Police investigated a complaint made by Susan Arnold at 10:20 p.m. Friday when she reported her purse was stolen while she was at an East Fayette Street business. The purse contained $200 in cash, a bankcard, check book and several credit cards. Charges are pending.

Incident investigated
Brownsville Borough Police reported an incident of public drunkenness on Front Street on Wednesday at 7:49 p.m. Police said a man fell and received a laceration to his head. Brownsville Ambulance and Brownsville Police responded to the location.

House entered
Someone who was not named told Brownsville Borough Police that approximately two or three months ago, the wiring in a residence on Second Street was in place, but on Feb. 14, the complainant went to the property and discovered that someone had gone through the rear window and all the electrical wiring in the residence was gone.

Assault reported
State police in Uniontown said Cpl. Kenneth Konek and Trooper Michael Irwin responded to a domestic complaint on Chrysler Avenue Saturday at 2:30 a.m. Police said while they were at the scene Jeremiah Worley, 22, of Connellsville, shoved Konek and became uncooperative. While taking Worley into custody, Konek suffered a cut to his right hand that required medical treatment. Worley was lodged in Fayette County Prison on related charges in lieu of $25,000 bond.
