Tax forms available at collector’s office

1 min read

Point Marion tax collector David M. Callahan has announced that 2007 tax forms are now available in his office, located at 200 Penn St. in the Clar-mac Furniture and Appliances building. Callahan said that because of a major expansion of the property tax and rent rebate program, several elderly Pennsylvanians are now eligible to receive rebates.

According to Callahan, the rebate program is a valuable asset funded by the state lottery and revenue from slot machines.

Callahan said the rebate program is available to qualified senior citizens and permanently disabled residents, and encourages every eligible resident to apply for the rebate.

“Every eligible Pennsylvania resident should take advantage of this benefit,” he said.

Callahan said forms must be mailed in by June 30.

For more information, call Callahan at 724-725-5717.
