Margaret A. Lacerenza, 80, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2008, in the Cloverdale Personal Care Home… Margaret A. Lacerenza, 80, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2008, in the Cloverdale Personal Care Home in Masontown, Pa.

She was born in Uniontown, on April 21, 1927, daughter of the late Donato and Carmella (D’Andrea) Lacerenza.

Margaret worked in New York for over 40 years until her retirement. She then returned to Uniontown.

Margaret was a very loving, caring and giving person.

A special thank you goes to the Cloverdale Personal Care Home and Albert Gallatin Hospice Team 15.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Nell Bongiorno, Marie Lacerenza, Julia Henry, Catherine Cerul and Louise Myers and four brothers, Donald, Nick, Peter and Frank Lacerenza.

Margaret is survived by a sister, Theresa Carnes of Middletown, Pa., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, today, January 4, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2008, at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. Father Kenneth G. Zaccagnini, V.F. officiating.

Interment follows in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
