She was born Wednesday, January 9,… Joanna B. Orsolini Glab, age 78, of California, Pa., died Sunday, January 6, 2008.

She was born Wednesday, January 9, 1929, in Daisytown, Pa., the daughter of Mario Orsolini and Luigia (Ventura) Orsolini.

Joanna was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, Edwin T. Glab on December 16, 2005, and by her brother, Emidio Orsolini.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons: Edwin “Chip” Glab and his wife, Leann, of California, Pa., and David Glab and his wife, Darlene, of State College, Pa.; and five cherished grandchildren: Anthony Glab, Jenna Glab, Tiffany Glab, Daniel Glab and Timothy Glab.

Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Funeral Director and Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., on Tuesday, January 8, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 9, 2008, until 9:30 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with the Rev. Father George Moneck as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, California, Pennsylvania.
