Barbara L. Sullivan Viher, 73, of Uniontown, Pa., was surrounded by her loving family as she went home to be… Barbara L. Sullivan Viher, 73, of Uniontown, Pa., was surrounded by her loving family as she went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 8, 2008.

Barbara was born on January 2, 1935, in Lemont Furnace, Pa., the daughter of the late Mallache and Blanche (Nedro) Sullivan.

She was a loving and devoted wife of 53 years to Lawerence E. Viher and the cherished and loving mother of five children: Lawerence E. Viher Jr. and wife, Pam of Pittsburgh, Diane Hines and husband, Tom of Uniontown, Tina Nypaver and husband, Mark of Uniontown, Kathy Cummings of Smithfield and Mallache Doug Viher and wife, Kristie of Vienna, West Virginia and the dear grandmother of nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters: Marion Sullivan of Smithfield, Jean Viher of Arizona and Pat Reicholf of Smithfield and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, today January 10, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, January 11, 2008 until 9 a.m. at which time a Blessing Service will be held followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Crookston officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
