Ronald E. Dean, Sr., 70, of Footedale, Pa., went to be with his Lord, Monday, January 14, 2008, peacefully with… Ronald E. Dean, Sr., 70, of Footedale, Pa., went to be with his Lord, Monday, January 14, 2008, peacefully with his loving wife of 50 years at his side.

He was born November 1, 1937, in New York City, son of the late John and Florence Tyransky Dean.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a nephew, John T. Dean III and his beloved Chihuahua, Bambi.

Surviving are his loving wife, Maxine Stanton Dean and two children: Ronald E. Dean, Jr. and Tammy O’Toole and husband, James all of San Diago, Calif.; two sisters and a brother: Dee Mae Miller and husband, Michael of Baltimore, Md., Lorraine Blackert of Christiansburg, Va., John T. Dean, Jr. and wife, Ilona of Farmington, Pa. and Mocha his beloved pet.

Ronald attended Trinity Fellowship Church of God in Uniontown where he was a very active member. He was retired from the United States Navy with 20 years of service as a Photographer. He had served during Vietnam. He loved hunting fishing and woodworking.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, today 4 to 9 p.m. and Thursday in Trinity Fellowship Church of God from 10 to 11 a.m. the hour of the service with Pastors Stanley and Amy Flasher officiating.

Entombment will follow in Sylvan Heights Mausoleum.
