Alleged internet predator arrested in Uniontown
A Scottdale man is in the Fayette County Prison on various charges after he allegedly showed up in the parking lot of a Uniontown drugstore Tuesday evening looking for a 13-year-old girl. What Sean Patrick Stillwagon, 20, of 155 Kelly St. found instead was Dunbar police Officer Christopher Kozlowski.
The officer had been chatting with Stillwagon since Dec. 22, posing as a 13-year-old girl. Kozlowski alleged that after several sexually explicit conversations, Stillwagon was supposed to meet the girl in the parking lot of the drugstore at 6:30 p.m.
Kozlowski indicated in an arrest affidavit filed before Magisterial District Judge Joseph M. George Jr. that Stillwagon was aware that he was chatting with a 13-year-old girl when he made the alleged explicit suggestions.
The conversations occurred either through a MySpace instant messenger or through Yahoo instant messenger, and Stillwagon used the screen name “Third_d_gree.”
The arrest affidavit detailed conversations that occurred on Sunday, Monday and on Dec. 22 and Jan. 6.
On Sunday, Kozlowski alleged Stillwagon asked the girl if she wanted to meet.
“I asked when, he stated he hopes soon when I got the house by myself,” Kozlowski wrote in the criminal complaint.
Stillwagon then allegedly asked if he needed to bring condoms and if the girl was ready for sex.
“He stated he wished we can talk on the phone first. I asked why, he stated that he is afraid of (a) cop acting like girls,” Kozlowski wrote, noting that Stillwagon asked for the address to the drugstore in Uniontown and allegedly made other sexually explicit comments.
The next day, Kozlowski alleged that Stillwagon made arrangements to meet the girl on Tuesday evening in the parking lot of the store.
Police said Stillwagon showed up at 6:30 p.m. and was immediately taken into custody.
Police said they found one box of condoms in his pocket.
During questioning, Stillwagon allegedly admitted that he wanted to have sex with the teen with whom he was chatting.
Stillwagon was charged with attempted statutory sexual assault, attempted aggravated indecent assault, attempted indecent assault, attempted corruption of a minor and attempted unlawful contact with a minor.
George set his bond at $25,000 straight cash and set a tentative hearing date of Tuesday.
