Joye K. Taylor, 69, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, January 17, 2008, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Born in Brownsville,… Joye K. Taylor, 69, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, January 17, 2008, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Born in Brownsville, Pa., on March 17, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Pearl (Thomas) Wise.

A homemaker, Joye was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church in Rostraver Township.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Taylor; 3 three sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Vanessa Taylor of Spotsylvania, Virginia, Ronald C. and Cindy Taylor of Belle Vernon, Lee and Donna Taylor of Allison; three daughters and sons-in-law, Deana and Ted Sobek of Perryopolis, Cindy and Kevin Granato of Coal Center, Jodi and Gary Evans of Belle Vernon; 13 grandchildren, Melody, Jill and Daniel Taylor, Jennifer and Kelsey Taylor and Ryan Chapman, Shaye, Ashton and Braden Taylor, Alexa Sobek, Natalie and Brandon Granato, and Ellie Evans; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Ruth Wise of Warsaw, Indiana; a special Aunt, June Hess; nephew, Steven and Charlotte Wise; numerous other nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon /Rostraver Township (724-929-7934). www.james stumpfuneralhome.com.

Family and friends are asked to gather at 11 a.m. Monday, January 21, at Olive Branch Baptist Church for a Funeral Service with the Rev. George Lammay and the Rev. Norman Meiser co-officiating.

Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery, Rostraver Township.
