Marvin R. Weinberg, 88, of Uniontown, died Wednesday, January 16, 2008, in Uniontown Hospital.

He was born in Russia son of the late Oscar and Tema Weinberg.
Mr. Weinberg served in United States Army as a First Lieutenant during WW II earning the Bronze and Silver Stars for bravery. He was a member of Temple Israel, B’nai Brith, VFW Post 47 and American Legion Post 51. He was regional manager for RPC Electonics for over 30 years.
In addition to his parents Mr. Weinberg was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Levine Weinberg and a brother Leo Weinberg.
He is survived by two children, daughter Barbara Ann Sheeler of Pittsburgh and son Mark J. Weinberg of Uniontown, and two sisters Linda Brownman and Sandra Weinberg.
Friends will be received in the J. HARRY JOHNSTON FUNERAL HOME, 65 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Sunday, January 20, 2008 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm the hour of service in the funeral home with Dr. Perry Haalman officiating.
Interment in the Hebrew Association Burial Grounds Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa. Personal memorials may be sent to jharryjohnston @yahoo.com.
