South Union Twp. Woman robbed
State police are investigating the strong-arm robbery of a Farmington woman at a business in South Union Township Tuesday night.
Police said the incident occurred at 10 p.m. in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart on Matthew Drive when an unidentified man approached Diane Swanson. Police said the grabbed Swanson’s purse and then pushed her to the ground. Police described the suspect as a white man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build. He then fled the scene in a tan 1996 Oldsmobile sedan, police said. Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to call police at 724-439-7111.

Money stolen
State police said cash was stolen from Bernie’s Diner on Route 51 in Perry Township at 3:51 a.m. Tuesday.

Burglary reported
State police said someone broke into a business in Dunbar Township owned by Dwaine Gordon of Connellsville at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday.

Clothes stolen
State police said they are searching for a man who stole several articles of clothing from Pacific Sunwear at the Uniontown Mall between 4 and 4:20 p.m. Monday. Police described the suspect as a white man, about 6 feet tall, with a skinny build, sandy blonde hair, with a ponytail and a blonde goatee.

Car crashes
A vehicle driven by Margie Downey of Connellsville crashed on Pechin Road at 7 p.m. Tuesday, state police said.

Woman injured
State police said Julie Faust of Dunbar suffered injuries when the car she was driving crashed on Curry Hill Road at 7:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Man charged
Kevin Duane Truly, 22, of Masontown was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Riley Street at 1:40 a.m. Nov. 27, state police said.

Man charged
Brian Scott Bair, 27, of Point Marion was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and fleeing and eluding police following a traffic stop on Route 1010 in Dunkard Township, Greene County, at 3:33 a.m. Tuesday, state police said.

Vehicle overturns
No one was injured when a vehicle driven by Tara Hall of Normalville overturned on Springfield Pike at 7:26 p.m. Sunday, state police said.

State police said a vehicle driven by Christina Hopwood crashed into a tree on Outcrop Road at 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Vehicle burned
State police said a vehicle that had been reported stolen from a Dunbar Township woman was recovered burned on Riffle Hollow Road at 2:15 p.m. Dec. 24.

Copper stolen
State police said copper pipe and wire owned by Sean Cavanaugh was stolen from a home on Braddock Street between Jan. 15 and Tuesday.

Man injured
State police said John Wunder of Waynesburg suffered minor injuries when the vehicle he was driving crashed on Oak Forrest Road in Franklin Township, Greene County, at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday.

Woman injured
Sarah Lujetic of Uniontown suffered minor injuries when the vehicle she was driving crashed into a guardrail in Franklin Township at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, state police said.
