Training programs announced

1 min read

The Fayette County Drug and Alcohol Commission Inc. will hold two training programs for the recovering community as part of its third annual Alcohol-free Super Bowl Party on Sunday, Feb. 3, at Tradition One Inc. in Uniontown. Beginning at 2 p.m., programs will be held on smoking cessation and integrating a recovering person back into the family.

Tradition One is now located at 62 W. Peter St., in the basement of The Cabaret and the Ivory Ballroom. Tradition One is hoping for another increase in attendance at the Alcohol-free Super Bowl Party. Its members already have seen an increase in attendance at Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

The Super Bowl party, which will begin at 6 p.m., is not just for the recovering community. It is open to area residents of all ages. There will be numerous activities for children throughout the day.
