Two injured
Vehicles driven by Joshua Jones of Masontown and Jonetta Boyd of Republic collided on Route 21 at 6:17 p.m. Thursday, state police said. Jones and Boyd were each taken to area hospitals for treatment, police said.

Ryan Scott, 19, of Uniontown was charged with disorderly conduct after an altercation with Richard Palo, also of Uniontown, at a location on Beeson Boulevard at 10:20 p.m. Thursday, state police said.

State police said three vending machines owned by James Vending of Uniontown were broken into at a business in Youngwood, Westmoreland County, between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 4:50 a.m. Thursday.

No one was injured when a vehicle driven by Kari Bertolina of Dunbar crashed on Route 1043 at 5:19 p.m. Thursday, state police said.

Man charged
Adam Boyle, 19, of Conneautville was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident on Cross Street at 12:15 a.m. Friday, California police said.

Scam probed
State police said they are investigating multiple reports from Fayette County residents regarding a potential telephone scam.
According to police, several area residents have received calls from an unidentified man and are told that they can receive free health-care coverage. Police said the residents were then asked to provide their personal banking information. Police warned area residents to not give personal information on the telephone.
