Vivian “Ruth” St. Clair, 87, of Masontown, Pa., died on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at LaFayette Manor Nursing Home, Uniontown,… Vivian “Ruth” St. Clair, 87, of Masontown, Pa., died on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at LaFayette Manor Nursing Home, Uniontown, Pa.

She was born on November 8, 1920 in Mount Pleasant, Pa., daughter of Charles Lemon and Mary Elizabeth (Green) Cowan.

Her parents; husband Joseph “Ray” St. Clair; a sister Esther Grimes, and a brother Kenneth Cowan preceded her in death.

Ruth was a member of Masontown Presbyterian Church and Sigma Beta Phi Sorority. She had also been a member of the Klondike Bowling League and a volunteer at Uniontown Hospital.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jeffrey J. St. Clair and wife Faith of Columbus, OH; Elissa J. Berkshire and husband Charles “Chick” of Masontown, Pa, and Jennifer Fotta and husband Bill of Masontown, Pa.; four grandchildren, Dawn Lee Dawson and husband James of Bridgeport, WV; Amity Rae Kelley of Holly Springs, NC; Rachel Fotta of Baltimore Md.; and Billy J. Fotta of Masontown, Pa.; two great grandchildren, Drew Stephen Dawson and Lindsay Channa Dawson, of Bridgeport, WV; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, Pa on Sunday, January 27, 2008 from 1 until 4 p.m.

A Memorial Ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. with Pastor Darrel Evans officiating.
