Shirley A. Emerick (Omslaer) died on Friday, June 20, 2008, in Conyers, Georgia. She was 78.
She was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, February 4, 1930, and was formerly of Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania.
Ms. Emerick was a substitute teacher for many years in the Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania area and was the Office Coordinator for the Wilkinsburg Community Ministry.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Burley S. Emerick and Marybelle (Carroll) Emerick.
Shirley was the beloved Mother of Judith C. Omslaer and husband Charles Alton of Winchester, Virginia, Jennifer O. Lyons and her husband Ronald of Conyers, Georgia, James E. Omslaer and wife Susan of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Joyce C. Carroll of Ambridge, Pennsylvania. Shirley is also survived by eight beloved Grandchildren, two Great Grandchildren and several Close Friends.
There will be a private Graveside Service for Ms. Emerick when she is laid to her rest in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
