Ruth Raymond Frey, 84, of Smithfield, Pa., passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008, in the Uniontown Hospital with her loving… Ruth Raymond Frey, 84, of Smithfield, Pa., passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008, in the Uniontown Hospital with her loving family by her side.
She was born October 5, 1923, in Elliottsville, Pa., daughter of the late Norval Raymond and Eleanor McDowell Raymond.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Torrence W. Frey, son, Torrence Allen Frey, daughter, Linda Smith and brothers and sisters.
Ruth was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Uniontown, Pa.
Surviving are her children: Durand W. Frey and Randall Frey both of Uniontown, Pa., Armand Frey of Blairsville, Pa., Gary W. Frey and Judy Tanner of Smithfield, Pa., Larry D. Frey, Keith and Nancy Frey all of Uniontown, Pa., Kerry B. Frey of Erie, Pa., Dorene and Barry Kranik of Fairchance, Pa., Cassandra and Wayne Patterson of Uniontown, Pa., and Debra and Richard Fike of Farmington, Pa.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Walter Raymond and wife, Marion of Burlington, New Jersey; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, July 12, 2008, until 11 a.m., the hour of service with the Rev. Dale Redick officiating.
Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Georges Township, Pa.
