… Lucy Mae Guthrie Eutsey, 76, of Wooddale, Scottdale, Pa., passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born on July 26, 1931, in Elliottsville, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of Earl Guthrie and Myrtle Rosenberger Guthrie.
Lucy was a long time resident of Wooddale and was a member of the Wooddale Church of The Brethren.
Lucy was a very avid bingo player.
Lucy was predeceased by her parents, a daughter, Deborah Sapinsky, grandson, Christopher Eutsey, three brothers, Fred Guthrie, Glenn Guthrie, Clyde Guthrie, and three sisters, Dorothy Pluto, Mabel Riggin, Matha Riggin.
She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her husband, Harold S. Eutsey Sr.; children: Shirley Barron and her husband Clarence, Dale Eutsey and wife Judy, Harold Eutsey Jr. and wife Kim, Christopher Eutsey and wife Terri, and Lorraine King and husband Robert all of Bullskin Township, Fayette County, Pa.; her grandchildren: Laura Wiltrout and Leslie Wiltrout, Lisa Sapinsky, Marcus Schrock, David Sapinsky, Michelle Hiles, Dale Eutsey Jr., Melissa Eutsey, Jonathan Eutsey, Ashleigh Eutsey, Kacie King, Emily Eutsey and Hunter Eutsey; four great grandchildren; brothers: Jack Guthrie and Earl Guthrie Jr. both of Smithfield, Pa.; and her sisters: Jessie Rankin of Smithfield, Betty VanSickle of Elliottsville, and Donna Jean Hartman of Smithfield, Pa.
Family and Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 406 East Washington Street, Mount Pleasant, Pa., where a Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Geary Witt officiating.
A Committal Service and interment will follow in the Eutsey Cemetery, White, Pa.
