Anna (Rohall) Zelinsky, age 95, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Saturday, July 26, 2008, in Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pa.

… Anna (Rohall) Zelinsky, age 95, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Saturday, July 26, 2008, in Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pa.

She was born on January 4, 1913, in Bitner, Fayette County, Pa., the daughter of Michael Rohall and Veronica (Cseriban) Rohall.

Anna was a member of Saint John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Uniontown, Pa., and The Greek Catholic Lodge.

Anna was employed with the now former Anchor Hocking in South Connellsville, Pa., The Union Supply, Ciarochi’s Shirt Factory and also the Simpson Laundry.

She volunteered her time at her Church for almost 50 years sewing vestments and making pirohis.

She also enjoyed sewing, gardening and baking.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Joseph Zelinsky, brothers, Andrew Rohall and George Rohall, and sisters, Mary Rayner, Elizabeth Patek, Helen Stashick and Veronica Crapp.

Left to cherish her memory is her niece whom she raised, Kathleen Pechunka and her husband, John, of Lemont Furnace, Pa., and their two daughters: Natalie Hospodavis and her husband, Jeff, of Uniontown, Pa., and Janine Pechunka of Lemont Furnace, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, until 10 a.m. when a Panachida Service will be held.

Divine Liturgy will follow at 11 a.m. in Saint John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, East Main Street, with the Rev. Father Thomas J. Wesdock as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Saint John Byzantine Church Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.

Parastas Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
