Rooker-Flavin
Jennifer Flavin of Wooster, Ohio, and Kyle Rooker, also of Wooster, were united in marriage. The Rev. Mark A. Eckman officiated the nuptial ceremony Dec. 28 at St. Sylvester Church in Pittsburgh.
The bride is the daughter of Jack and Carolyn Flavin of Brookline, Pittsburgh. The bridegroom is the son of Keith and Linda Rooker of Work Parkway, Uniontown.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory silk princess style gown with sweetheart neckline and attached train, all adorned with a fitted organza overlay of crystal and silver beading. A jewel wrap held a matching fingertip ivory veil.
Marlene Rieland was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristi Rooker, sister of the bridegroom; Michelle Cocagna, Landre Kiser, Molly Rallo, Jayme Muraco, Allison Kovacs and Beth Bacha. Junior bridesmaids were Colleen Yeckley and Kathleen Yeckley, cousins of the bride. Catherine Work, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
Best man was Kevin Rooker, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Karl Mawhinney, Robert Fiscus, Aram Smith-Maravillas, Joseph Muraco, Justin Abraham, Ryan Conchilla and Michael Ray.
A reception was held at the Riverwatch in Pittsburgh.
The bride graduated from Seton LaSalle High School and the College of Wooster. She is a third grade teacher at the Apple Creek Elementary School in Apple Creek, Ohio.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Laurel Highlands High school and also the College of Wooster.
He is co-offensive coordinator and special teams coordinator for the College of Wooster football team.
The couple honeymooned at Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
They are living in Wooster.
