He… Pastor Walter James Hickle, 63, of Gibbon Glade, Pa., passed away Sunday, July 27, 2008, in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born December 15, 1944, in Uniontown, Pa., son of the late Holbert and Anna Cooley Hickle.
Jim pastored the Laurel Mountain Baptist Church for 26 years and the Sandy Hill Church for 10 years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy and a brother, Buddy.
Surviving are his loving children: Tim and wife, Gemmi of Gibbon Glade, Pa., Kimberly and husband, Michael of Oklahoma, David and wife, Leslie of Uniontown, Pa.; three brothers: Jerry and wife, Eileen of Mass., Jake and wife, Lori of Carmichaels, Pa., Ronald and wife, Wanda of Uniontown, Pa.; one sister, Marsha and husband, Ron of Connellsville, Pa.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a special sister-in-law, Judy.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, today, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jim Liechliter officiating.
