Etheridge-Sur
Madelaine Sur of Uniontown and Justin Etheridge of Uniontown were united in marriage May 17 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, McClellandtown. The Rev. Leonard Kirby heard the exchange of marriage vows. The bride is the daughter of Geronimo and Veronica Sur of Cleveland, Ohio. The bridegroom is the son of Emile Sr. and Melinda Etheridge of Uniontown.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless satin mermaid-style gown with beaded embroidery, lace-up back and chapel train. A tiara held a veil of illusion.
Matron of honor was Jennifer Gutierrez, sister of the bride. Leena-Marie Balicat, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Lisa Sur and Nalyn Sur, sisters-in-law of the bride; Cara Etheridge, sister-in-law of the bridegroom; Janaya Black and Halla Tracy, cousins of the bridegroom, and Tone Dennis and Sara Rosiek.
Kayleigh Etheridge and Ashlynn Etheridge, nieces of the bridegroom, were flower girls.
Ian Etheridge, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.
Groomsmen are Jerry Sur, Wildon Sur, brothers of the bride; Emile Etheridge Jr., brother of the bridegroom; Andre Etheridge and Michael Etheridge Jr., cousins of the bridegroom; and Jeremy Campbell and Leonard J. Kirby.
Ring bearer was Peyton Etheridge, nephew of the bridegroom.
A reception was held in the royal Swan Room of the Lakeside Party Center, Uniontown.
The bride attended Cleveland State University in Cleveland, and is employed at the Fayette County Courthouse.
The bridegroom graduated from Waynesburg College. He is a therapist with Pressley Ridge and also owns and manages real estate in the local area.
The couple plans a cruise to the Bahamas later in the year.
They reside in Uniontown.
