John R. “Budda” Spishock, age 65, of Buffington, Fayette County, Pa., passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008, in UPMC, Pittsburgh,… John R. “Budda” Spishock, age 65, of Buffington, Fayette County, Pa., passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008, in UPMC, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was born January 9, 1943, in Hiller, Pa., the son of Helen Gogola Spishock and the now late John Spishock.
“Budda” was a member of the Saint Procopius Roman Catholic Church, New Salem.
He graduated in 1961 from DePaul Institute for the Deaf and also from the Cambria Barbering School.
Budda was a self-employed barber for over 46 years.
He was a former President of the Fairbank Rod & Gun Club and a member of the Newboro Indians, Keisterville Sportsmen’s Club and the Messmore Sportsmen’s Club.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Margaret Krch Spishock; sons: Thomas A. Spishock and wife Francee of Carmichaels, Pa., and David W. Spishock and wife Lori of Brownsville, Pa.; two grandchildren: Joel Thomas Spishock and Meighan Elisabeth Spishock; three brothers: Joe Spishock and wife Rita of Downington, Pa., Leonard Spishock and wife Connie of Perryopolis, Pa., and Larry Spishock of California state; and one sister, Debbie Forsythe and husband Gary of Perryopolis, Pa.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., on Monday, June 2, 2008, from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held with the Rev. Father Peter Peretti officiating.
Interment will be private.
Parish Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m.
