He was born on September 14, 1925, in Canyon, West Virginia, son of Andrew J. Domen and Helen (Wytko) Domen.
Tom was a member of Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, Pa.
He graduated from the Bethlehem Center High School and was a graduate of West Virginia University where he was a four-year letterman with the WVU Mountaineer Football Team.
He retired from teaching after 23 years, having taught in Brownsville, Ringgold and Belle Vernon.
He was also involved as a football coach in Brownsville, Belle Vernon and Ringgold school systems.
His parents, his sisters, JoAnn Metallic and Patti Stryker, and many nieces and nephews preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Sonja J. (Skomra) Domen; daughter, Barbara J. Arnold and her husband, Daniel J.; and his beloved grandsons: Phillip J. Arnold and Jonathan J. Arnold.
Private viewing was held in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa.
A Mass of Christian Burial followed in the Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Old Walnut Hill Road, with the Rev. Father Alexander L. Pleban as the Celebrant.
Interment followed in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
