Car show scheduled for Sunday

1 min read

The RESA Regional Police will present its third annual car show from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at the recreation complex and parking lot across the railroad tracks from the Stockdale Fire Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Registration for owners of classic and antique cars will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $5 and dash plaques will be presented to the first 150 participants.

In addition to the cars on display, the festivities will include food and soft drinks, door prizes and a Chinese auction. Musical entertainment will be provided by a disc jockey.

The RESA show, considered one of the biggest of its kind in the region, drew more than 180 entries last year.

Proceeds from the event benefit the RESA Regional Police, which serves the communities of Roscoe, Elco, Stockdale and Allenport and surrounding areas.

Additional information about the car show is available by contacting Jim Giffin at 724-326-8236.
