Rose A. “Granny” Roman Hoover, age 86, of Denbo, Pa., died Sunday, June 1, 2008, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown,… Rose A. “Granny” Roman Hoover, age 86, of Denbo, Pa., died Sunday, June 1, 2008, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa.
She was born March 22, 1922, in Crucible, Pa., the Daughter of Albert Roman and Mary Defigio Roman.
She was predeceased by her Parents, her Husband, James Hoover, Sisters, May Jacobucci, Lillian Patrick and Lena Berardi, and Brother, Robert Roman.
She is survived by three Children: Andrew Hoover and wife Mary, Uniontown, Pa., Jennie Rymers and husband Joseph, Toledo, Ohio, and Tina Macfann and husband Dale with whom she resided; Grandchildren: Roseanna Schilt, Joseph Rymers Jr., James L. Rymers, Orville Higinbotham, Christopher Higinbotham, Frank Hoover and Richard Hoover; 12 Great Grandchildren; one Great Great Granddaughter; and Sisters: Florence Otto, Mary Jane Bohlman, Julie Cvetan, Rosemarie Obrochta and Ann Bendt.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 5, 2008, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Scott Gallagher officiating.
Entombment will follow in The Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
